Operations engineer web applications

DESCRIPTION:
The most desirable Operations candidate would deploy configure web applications within a multi-clustered environment based on Windows20032008 and SQL20052008. He or she would monitor IIS and SQL servers, respond to IIS related issues, and perform web-application troubleshooting to the level of identifying IIS configuration or software issue that need to be fixed by web developers. In addition, the Software Engineer will work with our Web Applications. The candidate should be very enthusiastic, self-motivated and a fast learner. The individual will be a part of a highly qualified and successful goal oriented team.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
2 years of software engineering experience preferably within web applications development and support.

EDUCATION:
BSMS degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering discipline

REQUIREMENTS:
- PowerShell, WinRM, WinRS, bat files (Windows scripts).
- Virtual machines and environment. Candidate should be familiar to virtualization technology, consolidation (VMWare WorkStation и VMWare ESX Server).
- IIS.
- Basic knowledge in XML.
- Proficient with Microsofts database technology such as SQL2005 andor SQL2008.
- Some ASP.NET development experience would be good.
- A seasoned self-starter who works equally well independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
OPTIONAL:
- Perl, Python
- Working knowledge of. NET
- C, C, Web Services
